World’s Greatest Trail Mix!

Who doesn’t like a nice handful of trail mix from time to time? I know I do, especially when I’m doing a very long hike. That was the case on a recent trip to Havasupai Falls with my significant other, Jen.  And truth be told, I often forgo the handful at home and use a tablespoon as a shovel to stuff my face with trail mix when Jen’s not looking. Please don’t tell her I said that though if you see her on the streets because she’ll think I was raised by wolves.  But I have to admit, I find it a lot easier to just scoop a tablespoon into a bag to collect the yummy gems then it is to reach in there with my entire hand. Plus, that seems a lot more sanitary. Or maybe that’s just me…  The interesting part of this story is, we are both heavily entrenched with fasting.
